Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abu Ayoub, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’farasws about the average of what one is feeding his family. So heasws said: ‘What you are sustaining your family with, from the average of that’. I said, ‘And what is the average of that’. I said, ‘And what is the average of that?’ So heasws said: ‘The vinegar, and the oil, and the dates, and the bread, satiating them by it, once’. I said, ‘Their clothing?’ Heasws said: ‘One cloth’.
