قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَيُّ شَيْءٍ لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ كُلُّ مَا كَانَ لَكَ فِيهِ مَنْفَعَةٌ فِي دِينٍ أَوْ دُنْيَا فَلَا حِنْثَ عَلَيْكَ فِيهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hafs Bin Sowqat, from Ibn Bukeyr, from Zurara who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Which thing is, ‘there is not vow regarding a disobedience’?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Everything what was for you in which was a benefit regarding Religion or world, so there is no reneging upon you in it’.
