قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) كَيْفَ أَجَابُوا وَ هُمْ ذَرٌّ قَالَ جَعَلَ فِيهِمْ مَا إِذَا سَأَلَهُمْ أَجَابُوهُ يَعْنِي فِي الْمِيثَاقِ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، انہوں نے ابو بصیر سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: 'انہوں نے کیسے جواب دیا جبکہ وہ ذرات تھے؟' انہوں نے فرمایا: 'اس نے ان میں وہ (صلاحیت) رکھی جس کے ذریعے جب اس نے ان سے سوال کیا تو وہ جواب دے سکے — یعنی میثاق کے بارے میں۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘How did they answer and they were particles?’ He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘It (the ability) was Made to be in them what, when they were asked, the could answer with, meaning regarding the Covenant’.
