قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) لِعَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ الصُّوفِيِّ وَيْحَكَ يَا عَبَّادُ غَرَّكَ أَنْ عَفَّ بَطْنُكَ وَ فَرْجُكَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ فِي كِتَابِهِ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَ قُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيداً يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمالَكُمْ اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنْكَ شَيْئاً حَتَّى تَقُولَ قَوْلًا عَدْلًا.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473191">H 14529</a> – Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa Bin Ubeyd, from Yunus who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> said to Abbaad Bin Kaseer Al-Basry Al-Soufy: ‘Woe be unto you, O Abbaad! You have been deceived yourself by (merely) abstaining from your stomach and your genitals. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic has Said: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:33#h70"><a href="/books/quran:33#h70">[33:70]</a></a> O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and speak the right word <a href="/#/books/quran:33#h71"><a href="/books/quran:33#h71">[33:71]</a></a> He will put your deeds into a right state for you”</span><span class="bTxt">. </span>You must realise that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> will not Accept from you anything until you speak the truth and just word (do not only rely on the meditation but accept the truth, the Wilayah of Amimah<sup>asws</sup>)’.
