قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أُولئِكَ كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمانَ هَلْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ صُنْعٌ قَالَ لَا .

ان سے، Ahmad سے، Safwan سے، Aban سے، Fuzayl نے کہا: میں نے Abu 'Abdillah (علیہ السلام) سے کہا: [58:22] "وہ لوگ — جن کے دلوں میں اس نے ایمان نقش کر دیا ہے" کیا ان کے لیے، جو اس نے ان کے دلوں میں لکھ دیا ہے، اس میں اُن کا کوئی عمل دخل ہے؟ انہوں نے (علیہ السلام) فرمایا: "نہیں۔"
Translation
From him, from Ahmad, from Safwan, from Aban, from Fuzayl who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:58#h22"><a href="/books/quran:58#h22">[58:22]</a></a> these are they into whose hearts He has Impressed the faith</span>, is it for them regarding what is Impressed in their hearts, say (control over it)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’.
