سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ هُوَ الْإِيمَانُ قَالَ وَ أَيَّدَهُمْ بِرُوحٍ مِنْهُ قَالَ هُوَ الْإِيمَانُ وَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ وَ أَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوى قَالَ هُوَ الْإِيمَانُ .

Ali ibn Ibrahim، from Muhammad ibn Isa ibn Ubayd، from Yunus، from Jamil، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے Abu 'Abdillah (عليه السلام) سے قادرِمقتدر کے الفاظ کے بارے میں پوچھا: 'وہی ہے جس نے مومنین کے دلوں میں سکینہ اتاری' [48:4] انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: 'یہ ایمان (iman) ہے۔' 'اور جس نے انہیں اپنے از روح سے مدد دی' [58:22] — (روایتی متن میں: 'and He has supported them with a Spirit from Him') انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: 'یہ ایمان (iman) ہے۔' 'اور اس کے الفاظ کے بارے میں جو کہتے ہیں: اور ان پر تقویٰ کے کلمہ کو لازم فرما دیا' [48:26] انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: 'یہ ایمان (iman) ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa Bin Ubeyd, from Yunus, from Jameel who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:48#h4"><a href="/books/quran:48#h4">[48:4]</a></a> He it is Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Momineen (plural of Momin)</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is the faith’. He (the narrator) said, ‘(What about) <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:58#h22"><a href="/books/quran:58#h22">[58:22]</a></a> and He has Supported them with a Spirit from Him</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is the faith’. And about His<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Words <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:48#h26"><a href="/books/quran:48#h26">[48:26]</a></a> and Necessitated for them the word of piety</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘It is the faith’.
