قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) طَاعَةُ عَلِيٍّ ذُلٌّ وَ مَعْصِيَتُهُ كُفْرٌ بِاللَّهِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَكُونُ طَاعَةُ عَلِيٍّ ذُلًّا وَ مَعْصِيَتُهُ كُفْراً بِاللَّهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً يَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَقِّ فَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُ ذَلَلْتُمْ وَ إِنْ عَصَيْتُمُوهُ كَفَرْتُمْ بِاللَّهِ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473304">H 14630</a> – Sahl, from Yahya Bin Al-Mubarak, from Abdullah Bin Jabalat, from Is’haq Bin Ammaar, and Ibn Sinan, and Sama’at, from Abu Baseer, who has narrated the following: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Obedience to Ali<sup>asws</sup> is humbleness and disobedience to him is blasphemy with Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’. It was said, ‘O Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup>, how can obedience to Ali<sup>asws</sup> be humbleness and disobedience to him<sup>asws</sup> be blasphemy with Allah<sup>azwj</sup>?’ So he<sup>saww</sup> replied: ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> carries you all upon the ‘الْحَقِّ’ Just, so if you obey him<sup>asws</sup> it would make you humble, and if you were to disobey him<sup>asws</sup>, you would have blasphemed against Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’.
