حَدَّثَنِي فَرْوَةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) قَالَ ذَاكَرْتُهُ شَيْئاً مِنْ أَمْرِهِمَا فَقَالَ ضَرَبُوكُمْ عَلَى دَمِ عُثْمَانَ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً وَ هُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ ظَالِماً فَكَيْفَ يَا فَرْوَةُ إِذَا ذَكَرْتُمْ صَنَمَيْهِمْ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473340">H 14663</a> – Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al-Hassan Bin Muhammad Al-Kiindy, from someone else from our companions, from Abaan Bin usmaan, from Al-Fuzeyl Bin Al-zubeyr who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-f">F</span>arwat narrated to</span> me from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>. He said: ‘Remind me of something from the affairs of those two (Abu Bakr and Umar)’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They have hit you upon the blood of Usman for eighty years, and they very well know that he was an unjust one. O Farwat, so how would it be if I<sup>asws</sup> mention to you their two idols (Abu Bakr and Umar)’.
