دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ (عليه السلام) وَ هُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ فِي الْحَبْسِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ يَقُولُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ مَنِ احْتَجَمَ فِيهِ أَصَابَهُ الْبَرَصُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا يُخَافُ ذَلِكَ عَلَى مَنْ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ فِي حَيْضِهَا.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473349">H 14672</a> – A number from our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from a man from the people of Al-Kufa, from Abu Urwa the brother of Shuayb, or from Shuayb Al-Aqarqufy who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> came up to Abu Al</span>-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> the First<sup>asws</sup> whilst he<sup>asws</sup> was doing the cupping (Al-Hajaamat) on the day of Wednesday in the prison. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘This is the day for which the people say that the one who gets cupping (Al-Hajaamat) done would be struck by vitiligo (white patches on the body)’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But rather, the one who fears that is the one whose mother conceived him during her menstruation (Walud-ul-Haiz, the one would always be the enemy of Alye Mohammed<sup>asws</sup>)’.
