قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَوْقِفْنِي عَلَى حُدُودِ الْإِيمَانِ فَقَالَ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَ الْإِقْرَارُ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَ صَلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسِ وَ أَدَاءُ الزَّكَاةِ وَ صَوْمُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ وَ وَلَايَةُ وَلِيِّنَا وَ عَدَاوَةُ عَدُوِّنَا وَ الدُّخُولُ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus Bin Abdul Rahman, from Ajlan Abu Salih who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘Set me upon the limits of the ‘<span class="iTxt">Emān</span>’ (faith). So he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘The testimony that there is no god except for Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> and that Muhammad<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> is Rasool<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> of Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, and the acknowledgement with whatever he<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> came with from the Presence of Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, and the five <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>, and payment of the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>, and Fasting the Month of Ramazan, and <span class="iTxt">Hajj</span> of the House (Kabah), and the <span class="iTxt">Wilayah</span> for us<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> and enmity for our<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> enemies, and the entering to be with the truthful’.
