سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ قَالَ فِتْنَةٌ فِي دِينِهِ أَوْ جِرَاحَةٌ لَا يَأْجُرُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473408">H 14729</a> – Sahl, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Hameed, from yunus, from Abdul A’ala who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> asked Abu Abdullah</span><sup>a</sup><sup>sws</sup> about the Statement of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:24#h63"><a href="/books/quran:24#h63">[24:63]</a></a> therefore let those beware who go against his order lest a trial afflict them or there befall them a painful chastisement”</span>. Imam<sup>asws</sup> said: (it’s) ‘فِتْنَةٌ’ Strife in His<sup>azwj</sup> Religion or oppression for which Allah<sup>azwj</sup> does not Reward’.
