سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) يُحَدِّثُ إِذَا قَامَ الْقَائِمُ عَرَضَ الْإِيمَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ نَاصِبٍ فَإِنْ دَخَلَ فِيهِ بِحَقِيقَةٍ وَ إِلَّا ضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ أَوْ يُؤَدِّيَ الْجِزْيَةَ كَمَا يُؤَدِّيهَا الْيَوْمَ أَهْلُ الذِّمَّةِ وَ يَشُدُّ عَلَى وَسَطِهِ الْهِمْيَانَ وَ يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الْأَمْصَارِ إِلَى السَّوَادِ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473415">H 14736</a> – From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Al-Ahowl, from Sallaam Bin Al-Mustaneer who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> heard Abu Ja’far</span><sup>asws</sup> narrate: ‘When Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup> makes the stand, he<sup>asws</sup> will present the Faith to every Hostile One (Nasibi). Either they enter in it truly or else his neck would be struck, or he will have to hand over the tax just as the people under responsibility (Ahl Al-Dhimma – Christians and Jews) pay today, and tighten their waist and throw them out from the cities to the dark places’.
