John Shaqi

قَالَ أَثَافِيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ ثَلَاثَةٌ الصَّلَاةُ وَ الزَّكَاةُ وَ الْوَلَايَةُ لَا تَصِحُّ وَاحِدَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ إِلَّا بِصَاحِبَتَيْهَا .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ibn Al Arzamy, from his father, (It has been narrated) from Al-Sadiq<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The ‘Asafy’ (essence) of Al-<span class="iTxt">Islām</span> are three – The <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>, and the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>, and the <span class="iTxt">Wilayah</span>. Not one of these would be correct except with its two companions’.
