سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ تَقْعُدُونَ فِي الْمَكَانِ فَتُحَدِّثُونَ وَ تَقُولُونَ مَا شِئْتُمْ وَ تَتَبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّنْ شِئْتُمْ وَ تَوَلَّوْنَ مَنْ شِئْتُمْ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ وَ هَلِ الْعَيْشُ إِلَّا هَكَذَا.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473419">H 14740</a> – And by this chain, from Abaan Bin Usman, from Ismail Al-Basary who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> heard Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Can you all sit in a place where you can narrate Hadith, say whatsoever you like, and distance yourselves (Tabarra) from whosoever you like, and befriend whosoever you like?’ I said, ‘Yes’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Is (luxury of) life anything other than this?’
