سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) مِنْ حُجْرَتِهِ وَ مَرْوَانُ وَ أَبُوهُ يَسْتَمِعَانِ إِلَى حَدِيثِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْوَزَغُ ابْنُ الْوَزَغِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) فَمِنْ يَوْمِئِذٍ يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ الْوَزَغَ يَسْمَعُ الْحَدِيثَ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473452">H 14771</a> – Abaan, from Abdul Rahmaan Bin Abu Abdullah who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> heard Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup> came out of his<sup>saww</sup> chamber, and Marwaan and his father were both trying to listen to his<sup>saww</sup> narration. So he<sup>saww</sup> said for him: ‘The lizard, son of a lizard!’ Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘From that time they are reporting that the lizard listens to the narrations’.
