قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) لَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيجَةً فَلَا تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ فَإِنَّ كُلَّ سَبَبٍ وَ نَسَبٍ وَ قَرَابَةٍ وَ وَلِيجَةٍ وَ بِدْعَةٍ وَ شُبْهَةٍ مُنْقَطِعٌ مُضْمَحِلٌّ كَمَا يَضْمَحِلُّ الْغُبَارُ الَّذِي يَكُونُ عَلَى الْحَجَرِ الصَّلْدِ إِذَا أَصَابَهُ الْمَطَرُ الْجَوْدُ إِلَّا مَا أَثْبَتَهُ الْقُرْآنُ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473464">H 14783</a> – From him, from his father, said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Ja’far</span><sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Do not take anyone other than Allah<sup>azwj</sup> as a confidant or else you will not remain a ‘Momin’ (Believer), for every reason, and lineage, and relationships, and confidants, and innovations, and doubts will be cut off. These will disappear like the dust which is upon a solid rock which disappears when abundant rain falls on it, except for what has been established by the Quran’.
