وَصِيَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) لِعَلِيٍّ (عليه السلام) لَا تَخْرُجْ فِي سَفَرٍ وَحْدَكَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَعَ الْوَاحِدِ وَ هُوَ مِنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ أَبْعَدُ يَا عَلِيُّ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا سَافَرَ وَحْدَهُ فَهُوَ غَاوٍ وَ الِاثْنَانِ غَاوِيَانِ وَ الثَّلَاثَةُ نَفَرٌ قَالَ وَ رَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ سَفْرٌ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473595">H 14913</a> – A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, from the one whom he mentioned: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Al-Hassan Musa</span><sup>asws</sup> has narrated from his<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup>, from his<sup>asws</sup> grandfather<sup>asws</sup> regarding the will of the Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup> to Ali<sup>asws</sup>: ‘Do not go out alone on a journey for the Satan<sup>la</sup> would be with the loner, and he<sup>la</sup> is (also) with the two but further away. O Ali<sup>asws</sup>! If the man travels alone he is misguided, and two are (also) misguided, and the three is a group’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And some of them are reporting: ‘For travelling’.
