حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ فِي أَحْسَنِ مَا يَكُونُ حَالًا قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ فَقَالَ وَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ بِطَاعَةِ مَنْ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِطَاعَتِهِ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَأْمُرِ اللَّهُ بِطَاعَتِهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473601">H 14919</a> – Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Umar Bin Azina, from Zurara who said, ‘Narrated to me Abu Al-Khattab in the best of conditions that: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-h">H</span>e asked Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> about the Statement of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:39#h45"><a href="/books/quran:39#h45">[39:45]</a></a> And when Allah alone is mentioned,</span> (the Imam<sup>asws</sup> said it is) by the obedience to the one<sup>asws</sup>, the obedience to whom<sup>asws</sup> Allah<sup>azwj</sup> the One has Commanded for from the Progeny<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> <span class="ibTxt">the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink, </span>and when there is a mention of the one, the obedience to whom Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has not Commanded for<span class="ibTxt"> lo! they are joyful”</span>.
