سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ عَادَيْتُمْ فِينَا الْآبَاءَ وَ الْأَبْنَاءَ وَ الْأَزْوَاجَ وَ ثَوَابُكُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَمَا إِنَّ أَحْوَجَ مَا تَكُونُونَ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْأَنْفُسُ إِلَى هَذِهِ وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى حَلْقِهِ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473650">H 14967</a> – Ahmad, from Ali Bin Al-Hakam, from Quteyba Al-A’ashy who said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> heard Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘You have antagonised your fathers, and your sons, and your wives with regards to us<sup>asws</sup>, and your Reward is upon Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic. But rather, it would be most needed when you are in a state when your souls reach to here’ – and he<sup>asws</sup> gestured by his<sup>asws</sup> hand to his<sup>asws</sup> throat’.
