John Shaqi

وُلْدُ الْمِرْدَاسِ مَنْ تَقَرَّبَ مِنْهُمْ أَكْفَرُوهُ وَ مَنْ تَبَاعَدَ مِنْهُمْ أَفْقَرُوهُ وَ مَنْ نَاوَاهُمْ قَتَلُوهُ وَ مَنْ تَحَصَّنَ مِنْهُمْ أَنْزَلُوهُ وَ مَنْ هَرَبَ مِنْهُمْ أَدْرَكُوهُ حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ دَوْلَتُهُمْ.


Translation

<a id="_Toc492473672">H 14986</a> – Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammaad Bin Usman, who has reported: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘The sons of Al-Mardaas (Al-Abbas) – the one who associates with them, they turn him to be an unbeliever, and the one who distances himself from them, they impoverish him, and the one antagonises them, they kill him, and the one who fortifies himself from them they lower him, and the one flees from them, they are wary of him, until their government comes to an end’.
