بَعْضُهُمْ لَا تَقْعُدْ تَحْتَ هَذَا الْحَائِطِ فَإِنَّهُ مُعْوِرٌ فَقَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) حَرَسَ امْرَأً أَجَلُهُ فَلَمَّا قَامَ سَقَطَ الْحَائِطُ قَالَ وَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) مِمَّا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا وَ أَشْبَاهَهُ وَ هَذَا الْيَقِينُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Zayd Al Shahaam, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Amir Al-<span class="iTxt">Momin</span>een<sup>asws</sup> was seated leaning by a wall giving judgements between the people, so one of them said, ‘You<sup>asws</sup> should not sit beneath this wall for it is vulnerable’. So Amir Al-<span class="iTxt">Momin</span>een<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘An evil man would guard (against) his death’. So when he<sup>asws</sup> arose, the wall collapsed’. He (Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>) said: ‘And it was so that Amir Al-<span class="iTxt">Momin</span>een<sup>asws</sup> was from the ones who did this and what resembles it, and this is the conviction’.
