كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ لَيْلَتَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ تُتْعِبُ نَفْسَكَ وَ قَدْ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَ لَا أَكُونُ عَبْداً شَكُوراً قَالَ وَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَقُومُ عَلَى أَطْرَافِ أَصَابِعِ رِجْلَيْهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى طه ما أَنْزَلْنا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقى .
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from Wuheyb, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘It was so that Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> was with Ayesha during her night, so she said, ‘O Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>! Why do you<sup>asws</sup> exhaust yourself<sup>saww</sup> and Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has already Forgiven for you<sup>saww</sup> whatever has preceded of your<sup>saww</sup> sins (of your<sup>saww</sup> Shia), and whatever is delayed?’ So he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘O Ayesha! Should I<sup>saww</sup> not become a grateful servant?’ He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘And Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> used to stand upon the sides of his<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> toes, so Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> the Glorious and High Revealed <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:20#h1"><a href="/books/quran:20#h1">[20:1]</a></a> Ta Ha <a href="/#/books/quran:20#h2"><a href="/books/quran:20#h2">[20:2]</a></a> We have not Revealed the Quran to you that you may be distressed</span>’.
