مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَرَى مُبْتَلًى فَيَقُولُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَدَلَ عَنِّي مَا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ وَ فَضَّلَنِي عَلَيْكَ بِالْعَافِيَةِ اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَيْتَهُ بِهِ إِلَّا لَمْ يُبْتَلَ بِذَلِكَ الْبَلَاءِ .
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban Bin Usman, from Hafs Al Kunasy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is none from a servant who sees an afflicted one, so he is saying, ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Who Avoided from me what you have been afflicted with, and Preferred me over you with the good health’.
