قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فِي خُطْبَتِهِ أَ لَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ خَلَائِقِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ الْعَفْوُ عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَكَ وَ تَصِلُ مَنْ قَطَعَكَ وَ الْإِحْسَانُ إِلَى مَنْ أَسَاءَ إِلَيْكَ وَ إِعْطَاءُ مَنْ حَرَمَكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said in his<sup>saww</sup> sermon: ‘Shall I<sup>saww</sup> inform you with the best moral of the world and the Hereafter? (it is) the pardoning the one who oppressed you, and maintaining relations with the one who cut you off, and the (doing of) favours to the one who offended you, and giving to the one who deprived you’.
