John Shaqi

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَمْسِكْ لِسَانَكَ فَإِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ تَصَدَّقُ بِهَا عَلَى نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَ لَا يَعْرِفُ عَبْدٌ حَقِيقَةَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يَخْزُنَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Al Halby, raising it, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Withhold your tongue for it is a charity you give charity upon yourself’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And a servant will not recognise the reality of the <span class="iTxt">Emān</span> until he stores from his tongue’.
