قُلْتُ لَهُ أَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَ سُنَّةِ نَبِيِّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَوْ تَقُولُونَ فِيهِ قَالَ بَلْ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَ سُنَّةِ نَبِيِّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .

ہمارے کئی اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے اسماعیل بن مہران سے، انہوں نے سیف بن عمیرہ سے، انہوں نے ابو المغراء سے، انہوں نے سماعہ سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کی، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان (علیہ السلام) سے کہا: 'کیا ہر چیز کتاب اللہ اور ان کے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سنت میں ہے، یا آپ (ائمہ) بھی اس میں اپنی رائے دیتے ہیں؟' انہوں نے (علیہ السلام) فرمایا: 'بلکہ ہر چیز کتاب اللہ اور ان کے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سنت میں ہے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Ismail Bin Mihran, from Sayf Bin Ameyra, from Abu Magra’a, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Musa<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Is everything in the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and the Sunnah of His<sup>azwj</sup> Prophet<sup>saww</sup>, or are you<sup>asws</sup> (Imams<sup>asws</sup>) are saying with regards to it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But, everything is in the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and the Sunnah from His<sup>azwj</sup> Prophet<sup>saww</sup>’.
