قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّ فِي طَلَبِ الدُّنْيَا إِضْرَاراً بِالْآخِرَةِ وَ فِي طَلَبِ الْآخِرَةِ إِضْرَاراً بِالدُّنْيَا فَأَضِرُّوا بِالدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّهَا أَوْلَى بِالْإِضْرَارِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Bukeyr, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘In seeking of the world there is loss incurred with the Hereafter and in seeking the Hereafter there is loss incurred with the world. So incur losses with the world for it is more appropriate with the losses’.
