John Shaqi

حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ حُمْرَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِذَا هَمَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا يُؤَخِّرْهُ فَإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ رُبَّمَا صَلَّى الصَّلَاةَ أَوْ صَامَ الْيَوْمَ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ بَعْدَهَا فَقَدْ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al Numan who said, ‘Hamza Bin Humran narrated to me saying, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Whenever one of you intends the goodness, so he should not delay it, for the servant sometimes prays the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> or Fasts for the day, and it is said to him: ‘Do whatever you so desire to after it, for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has Forgiven (your sins) for you’.
