سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ صِلَةَ الرَّحِمِ وَ الْبِرَّ لَيُهَوِّنَانِ الْحِسَابَ وَ يَعْصِمَانِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ فَصِلُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ وَ بَرُّوا بِإِخْوَانِكُمْ وَ لَوْ بِحُسْنِ السَّلَامِ وَ رَدِّ الْجَوَابِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The maintenance of goodly relationship with the relatives, and the righteousness, would both east the Reckoning and would defend from the sins. Therefore, maintain your relationships and be good with your brethren, and even though it be by the goodly greeting and response’.
