قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّ عَلَى كُلِّ حَقٍّ حَقِيقَةً وَ عَلَى كُلِّ صَوَابٍ نُوراً فَمَا وَافَقَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَخُذُوهُ وَ مَا خَالَفَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَدَعُوهُ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے نوفلی سے، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: 'ہر حق کی ایک حقیقت ہوتی ہے اور ہر صواب پر ایک نور ہوتا ہے۔ تو جو کچھ کتاب اللہ کے موافق ہو اسے لے لو اور جو کچھ کتاب اللہ کی مخالف ہو اسے چھوڑ دو۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Upon every truth there is a reality, and upon everything correct there is a light. So, whatever is in accordance to the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, take it, and whatever differs from the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, so leave it’.
