حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَلَقَ خَلْقاً مِنْ خَلْقِهِ انْتَجَبَهُمْ لِقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِ فُقَرَاءِ شِيعَتِنَا لِيُثِيبَهُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ فَكُنْ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَنَا وَ اللَّهِ رَبٌّ نَعْبُدُهُ لَا نُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً .
Translation
From him, from Muhammad Bin Ziyad who said, ‘It was narrated to me from Al Mufazzal Bin Umar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Created creatures from His<sup>azwj</sup> creatures, Choosing them for the fulfilment of the needs of the poor ones of our<sup>asws</sup> Shia in order for the Paradise to be affirmed for them upon that. Therefore, if you have the capacity to become from them, then become so’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘For us<sup>asws</sup>, by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, is a Lord<sup>azwj</sup>. We<sup>asws</sup> worship Him<sup>azwj</sup>, not associating anything with Him<sup>azwj</sup>’.
