لَأَنْ أُطْعِمَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُطْعِمَ أُفُقاً مِنَ النَّاسِ قُلْتُ وَ مَا الْأُفُقُ قَالَ مِائَةُ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ .
Translation
From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from one of our companions, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Feeding a man from the Muslims is more beloved to me than feeding an ‘Afqa’ from the people’. I said, ‘And what is the ‘Afqa’?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘A hundred thousand, or more’.
