Al-Kafi 2194

Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Abdullah Bin Maymoun Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws having said: ‘The one who feeds a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> until he satiates him, no one from the creatures of Allah^azwj would know what is for him from the Recompense in the Hereafter, neither an Angel of Proximity, nor a <span class="iTxt">Mursil</span> Prophet^as, except for the Lord^azwj of the worlds’. Then he^asws said: ‘From the Obligatory Forgiveness is feeding the starving Muslim’. Then he^asws recited the Words of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:90#h13"><a href="/books/quran:90#h13">[90:13]</a></a> (It is) the setting free of a slave, <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h14"><a href="/books/quran:90#h14">[90:14]</a></a> Or the giving of food in a day of hunger <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h15"><a href="/books/quran:90#h15">[90:15]</a></a> To an orphan, having relationship, <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h16"><a href="/books/quran:90#h16">[90:16]</a></a> Or to the poor man lying in the dust</span>’.
