قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) التَّقِيَّةُ مِنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ قُلْتُ مِنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِي وَ اللَّهِ مِنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ وَ لَقَدْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ ( عليه السلام ) أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسارِقُونَ وَ اللَّهِ مَا كَانُوا سَرَقُوا شَيْئاً وَ لَقَدْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ( عليه السلام ) إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ وَ اللَّهِ مَا كَانَ سَقِيماً .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Baseer who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The dissimulation (<span class="iTxt">Taqiyya</span>) is from the Religion of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’. I said, ‘From the Religion of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! From the Religion of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, and Yusuf<sup>as</sup> has said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:12#h70"><a href="/books/quran:12#h70">[12:70]</a></a> O caravan! You are stealing</span>. By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! They had not stolen anything. And Ibrahim<sup>as</sup> had said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:37#h89"><a href="/books/quran:37#h89">[37:89]</a></a> Then he said: I feel sick</span>. By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! He<sup>as</sup> was not sick’.
