اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَ لَا السَّيِّئَةُ قَالَ الْحَسَنَةُ التَّقِيَّةُ وَ السَّيِّئَةُ الْإِذَاعَةُ وَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ قَالَ الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ التَّقِيَّةُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَهُ عَداوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad, from Hareyz, from the one who informed him, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:41#h34"><a href="/books/quran:41#h34">[41:34]</a></a> And the good and the evil are not alike</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The good deed is the dissimulation (<span class="iTxt">Taqiyya</span>), and the evil is the broadcasting’. And (about) the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:41#h34"><a href="/books/quran:41#h34">[41:34]</a></a> Refute (evil) with what is best</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘That which is the best, is the dissimulation (<span class="iTxt">Taqiyya</span>) <span class="ibTxt">So if there is enmity between you and him, as if it is an intimate friend</span>’.
