أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ عِرْقٍ يَضْرِبُ وَ لَا نَكْبَةٍ وَ لَا صُدَاعٍ وَ لَا مَرَضٍ إِلَّا بِذَنْبٍ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي كِتَابِهِ وَ ما أَصابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِما كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَ يَعْفُوا عَنْ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَ مَا يَعْفُو اللَّهُ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا يُؤَاخِذُ بِهِ .
اردو
ان سے، ان کے والد سے، النضر بن سوید سے، ہشام بن سالم سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک کوئی رگ پھڑکتی نہیں، نہ کوئی مصیبت، نہ کوئی سر درد، اور نہ کوئی بیماری مگر کسی گناہ کے سبب؛ اور یہی اللہ عزوجل کا اپنے کتاب میں فرمان ہے: اور تمہیں جو بھی مصیبت پہنچتی ہے، وہ تمہارے ہاتھوں کی کمائی کے سبب ہے، اور وہ بہت کچھ معاف فرما دیتا ہے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: اور جو کچھ اللہ معاف فرما دیتا ہے وہ اس سے زیادہ ہے جس پر وہ مواخذہ کرتا ہے۔
Translation
From him, from his father, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Hisham Bin Salim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is no vein being struck, nor a calamity, nor a headache, nor an illness except due to a sin, and these are the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic in His<sup>azwj</sup> Book <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:42#h30"><a href="/books/quran:42#h30">[42:30]</a></a> And whatever affliction befalls you, it is on account of what your hands have wrought, and (yet) He Pardons most (of your faults)</span>’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And what He<sup>azwj</sup> Forgive is more than what He<sup>azwj</sup> Seizes with’.
