سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِ اللَّهِ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ وَ مَا سَطَوَاتُ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْأَخْذُ عَلَى الْمَعَاصِي .
اردو
ان سے، ان کے والد سے، ابن ابی عمیر سے، ابراہیم بن عبد الحمید سے، ابی اسامہ سے، ابی عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے اسے یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا: رات اور دن میں اللہ کی سطوات سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے کہا: اور اللہ کی سطوات کیا ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: گناہوں پر پکڑ۔
Translation
From him, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibrahim Bin Abdul Hameed, from Abu Asama, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Seek Refuge with Allah<sup>azwj</sup> from the Assaults of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> by the night and the day’. I said, ‘And what are the Assaults of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Seizing upon the disobedience’.
