الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، الوشاء سے، علی بن ابی حمزہ سے، ابو بصیر سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں علیہ السلام یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “چھوٹے سمجھے جانے والے گناہوں سے بچو، کیونکہ ان کے لیے ایک طلب کرنے والا ہے۔ تم میں سے کوئی کہتا ہے: ‘میں گناہ کرتا ہوں اور استغفار کرتا ہوں۔’” بے شک اللہ، عز و جل، فرماتا ہے: “اور ہم لکھتے ہیں جو انہوں نے آگے بھیجا اور ان کے آثار، اور ہم نے ہر چیز کو ایک واضح امام میں شمار کر رکھا ہے۔” اور وہ، عز و جل، نے فرمایا: “بے شک اگر وہ رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی ہو، اور وہ کسی چٹان میں ہو، یا آسمانوں میں ہو، یا زمین میں ہو، اللہ اسے لے آئے گا۔ بے شک اللہ نہایت باریک بین، خوب خبر رکھنے والا ہے۔”

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far^asws, said, ‘I heard him^asws saying: ‘Fear the insignificant sins, for there is a seeker for it. One of you is saying, ‘I shall commit sin and seek Forgiveness’. Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:36#h12"><a href="/books/quran:36#h12">[36:12]</a></a> Surely We Revive the dead, and We Write down what they have sent before and its effects, and We have Numbered everything in a Manifest Imam</span>. And Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:31#h16"><a href="/books/quran:31#h16">[31:16]</a></a> Surely if it is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is inside a rock, or in the skies or in the earth, Allah will Bring it; surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware</span>’.
