Al-Kafi 2483

Translation

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Ibn Fazzal and Al Hajjal, altogether from Sa;alba, from Ziyad who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> descended in a barren land, so he<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> said to his<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> companions: ‘Bring me<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> some firewood’. So they said, ‘O Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>! We are in a barren land, there is no firewood in it’. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> said: ‘So let every person bring in whatever he is able upon’. So they came over until they threw it in front of him<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, on top of each other. So Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> said: ‘This is how the sins tend to accumulate’. Then he<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> said: ‘Beware of the belittled ones from the sins, and for every thing there is a seeker. Indeed! And if you were to seek it, He<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> would <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:36#h12"><a href="/books/quran:36#h12">[36:12]</a></a> Write down what they have sent before and its effects, and We have Numbered everything in a Manifest Imam</span>’.
