Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Umar Bin Yazeed who said, ‘I was having dinner with Abu Abdullahasws when heasws recited this Verse <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:75#h14"><a href="/books/quran:75#h14">[75:14]</a></a> But! The human being is evidence against himself <a href="/#/books/quran:75#h15"><a href="/books/quran:75#h15">[75:15]</a></a> Although he puts forth his excuses</span>. O Abu Hafs! The human being cannot get closer to Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic by going against what Allahazwj the Exalted Knows. Rasool-Allahsaww was saying: ‘The one who does a secretive deed, Allahazwj would Return it with a Returning - if it was good, so good, and if it was evil, so evil’.
