مَا يَصْنَعُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ حَسَناً وَ يُسِرَّ سَيِّئاً أَ لَيْسَ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ فَيَعْلَمَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ لَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ وَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ بَلِ الْإِنْسانُ عَلى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ إِنَّ السَّرِيرَةَ إِذَا صَحَّتْ قَوِيَتِ الْعَلَانِيَةُ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مِثْلَهُ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Fazl Abu Al Abbas, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> having said: ‘What is one of you doing if he does a good deed in the apparent and does the evil deed in private. Does he not return it to his own self, so he knows that, that is not like that? And Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:75#h14"><a href="/books/quran:75#h14">[75:14]</a></a> But! The human being is evidence against himself</span>. The secretive deeds, when it is correct, strengthens the deed done in the open’. <span style="font-size: small">Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Jamhour, from Fazalat, from Muawiya, from Al Fuzayl,</span> from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> – similar to it.
