John Shaqi

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ كَفَّ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ أَعْرَاضِ النَّاسِ أَقَالَ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ مَنْ كَفَّ غَضَبَهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ كَفَّ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ عَذَابَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ .


Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Aasim Bin Humeyd, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The one who restrains himself from the vanities of the world, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Discharge his soul on the Day of Judgment; and the one who restrains his anger from the people, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High would Restrain the Punishment from him on the Day of Judgment’.
