سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنْ تَعَلَّقَ قَلْبُهُ بِالدُّنْيَا تَعَلَّقَ قَلْبُهُ بِثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ هَمٍّ لَا يَفْنَى وَ أَمَلٍ لَا يُدْرَكُ وَ رَجَاءٍ لَا يُنَالُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdul Aziz Al Abdy, from Ibn Abu Yafour who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The one who attaches his heart with the world, his heart would be attached with three traits – Worries which will not end, and work which will not be realised (completed), and the hopes which will not fulfil for him’.
