لَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ شَيْئاً أَدْنَى مِنْ أُفٍّ لَنَهَى عَنْهُ وَ هُوَ مِنْ أَدْنَى الْعُقُوقِ وَ مِنَ الْعُقُوقِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى وَالِدَيْهِ فَيُحِدَّ النَّظَرَ إِلَيْهِمَا .
Translation
From him, from Yahya Bin Ibrahim Bin Abu Ballad Al Sulmy, from his father, from his grandfather, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Had Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Known of anything lesser than (the saying of) ‘Ugh’, He<sup>azwj</sup> would have Forbidden from it, and it is the lowest of the ungratefulness; and from the ingratitude is that the man looks at his parents, so he looks angrily at them’.
