قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَقَدْ أَسْرَى رَبِّي بِي فَأَوْحَى إِلَيَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ مَا أَوْحَى وَ شَافَهَنِي إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ لِي يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ أَذَلَّ لِي وَلِيّاً فَقَدْ أَرْصَدَنِي بِالْمُحَارَبَةِ وَ مَنْ حَارَبَنِي حَارَبْتُهُ قُلْتُ يَا رَبِّ وَ مَنْ وَلِيُّكَ هَذَا فَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ مَنْ حَارَبَكَ حَارَبْتَهُ قَالَ لِي ذَاكَ مَنْ أَخَذْتُ مِيثَاقَهُ لَكَ وَ لِوَصِيِّكَ وَ لِذُرِّيَّتِكُمَا بِالْوَلَايَةِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Muawiya, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘My<sup>azwj</sup> Lord<sup>azwj</sup> Ascended me<sup>saww</sup> (Mi’raj) and He<sup>azwj</sup> Revealed unto me<sup>saww</sup> from behind the Veil what He<sup>azwj</sup> Revealed and Spoke to Me<sup>azwj</sup> Verbally until He<sup>azwj</sup> Said to me<sup>saww</sup>: ‘O Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>! “O Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>! The one who disgraces a friend of Mine<sup>azwj</sup>, so he has declared a war against Me<sup>azwj</sup>, and the one who battles (against) Me<sup>azwj</sup>, I<sup>azwj</sup> Battle against him”. I said, ‘O Lord<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>! And who is this friend of Yours<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, for I<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> have known that the one who battles You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, You<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> would battle him?’ He<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Said to me: “That is the one from whom I<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> have Taken the Covenant for you<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, and for your<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> successor<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, and for both your<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> children with the Wilayah”’.
