مَنْ قَالَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ مَا رَأَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ وَ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَاهُ فَهُوَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ.
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The one who says regarding a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> what he saw and what his ears heard, so he is from the ones for whom Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Says <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h19"><a href="/books/quran:24#h19">[24:19]</a></a> The ones who love that scandal should circulate respecting those who believe, for them is a grievous Punishment</span>’.
