John Shaqi

إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ أَوْصِنِي فَكَانَ فِيمَا أَوْصَاهُ أَنْ قَالَ لَا تَسُبُّوا النَّاسَ فَتَكْتَسِبُوا الْعَدَاوَةَ بَيْنَهُمْ .


Translation

From him, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Hisham Bin Salim, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘A man from the Clan of Tameym came over to the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>, and he said, ‘Advise me’. So, among what he<sup>saww</sup> advised him with was that he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Do not insult the people for it would earn you the enmity between them’.
