Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Al Hassan Bin Shamoun, from Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman, from Misma’a Bin Abdul Malik, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineenasws said regarding the Words of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:42#h30"><a href="/books/quran:42#h30">[42:30]</a></a> And whatever affliction befalls you, it is on account of what your hands have wrought, and what He Pardons is more</span>: ‘There is none from the twisting of a vein (muscle), nor a stumbling over a stone, nor a slip of a foot, nor a scratch by wood, except it is due to a sin, and what Heazwj Pardons is more. So for the one for whom Allahazwj Hastens the Punishment for his sin in the world, so Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic is more Majestic and more Benevolent and more Magnificent than for Himazwj to Repeat Punishing him in the Hereafter’.
