إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ داخِرِينَ قَالَ هُوَ الدُّعَاءُ وَ أَفْضَلُ الْعِبَادَةِ الدُّعَاءُ قُلْتُ إِنَّ إِبْراهِيمَ لَأَوَّاهٌ حَلِيمٌ قَالَ الْأَوَّاهُ هُوَ الدَّعَّاءُ .
اردو
علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے حریز سے، انہوں نے زرارہ سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: 'اللہ عزّ وجلّ فرماتا ہے: [40:60] یقیناً جو لوگ میری عبادت سے تکبر کرتے ہیں وہ عنقریب ذلیل ہو کر جہنم میں داخل ہوں گے۔' آپ نے فرمایا: 'یہ (عبادت) دعا ہے، اور عبادات میں سب سے افضل دعا ہے۔' میں نے کہا: '[9:114] بے شک ابراہیم بڑے رقیق القلب، بردبار تھے۔' آپ نے فرمایا: 'اوّاہ وہ ہے جو بہت دعا کرے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:40#h60"><a href="/books/quran:40#h60">[40:60]</a></a> surely those who are too proud to worship Me shall soon enter Hell abased</span>. It (worship) is the supplication, and the most superior of the (acts of) worship, is the supplication’. I said, ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:9#h114"><a href="/books/quran:9#h114">[9:114]</a></a> most surely Ibrahim was very tender-hearted, forbearing</span>’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘His tender-heartedness, it is (a reference to) the supplication’.
