قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ مَلَائِكَتُهُ وَ مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُقِلَّ وَ مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُكْثِرْ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The one who sends <span class="iTxt">Salawāt</span> upon me<sup>saww</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and His<sup>azwj</sup> Angels would Send <span class="iTxt">Salawāt</span> upon him, and the one who so desires to let him be scarce (with it), and the one who so desires let him be frequent (with it)’.
